Mr. B.F. Fry, aged 32, and who at one time kept a grocery on west Main street, died on Sunday at the residence of his sister on east Main street. The funeral occurred on Tuesday, the remains being taken to Hillsborough (sic) for interment. kbz

Benj. F. Fry, known as Frank Fry, was born Aug 13, 1863 near Hillsboro, Ind. He was the son of Solomon and Matilda Fry, and was married to Mary E. Hesler June 30, 1892.  A daughter was born to them but was soon taken away. After two years of patient suffering he died. Dec 8, 1895 at the home of his sister, Mrs. HS Nicholson of this city. He leaves a wife, two brothers and two sisters one brother and sister residing in Kansas, the other two in this city. He died full of faith, prepared for his home eternal. He was a member of the First ME Church of this place. The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. HS Nicholson, 904 east Main Street, Tuesday, Dec 10 at 11 a.m. after which the body will be taken to Hillsboro for interment. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. JT Phillips of Frankfort and the Odd Fellows and POS of A of this place will have charge of the funeral. Frank Fry made many warm personal friends while engaged in business in this city who will regret to hear of his death.  He was a good word for everybody and liked by all – Monday’s Daily. - kbz

Benjamin F. Fry, better known as Frank Fry, was born Aug. 13, 1863, near Hillsboro, Ind., and was the son of Solomon and Matilda Fry. He was married to Mary E. Hesler, June 20, 1892. A daughter was born to them, but was soon taken away. After two years of patient suffering he died Dec. 8, 1895, at the home of his sister, Mrs. H. S. Nicholson, of this city.  He leaves a wife, two brothers and two sisters; one brother and sister residing in Kansas and the other two in this city.  The funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. H. S. Nicholson, 904 East Main Street, Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 11 o’clock a.m., after which the body was taken to Hillsboro for interment. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Phillips, of Frankfort, and the Odd Fellows and P. O. S. of A., of this place.  He was a member of the First M. E. Church. He was prepared for death, so his friends do not weep as those that have no hope.

The funeral of Frank Fry occurred Tuesday morning and was attended by a large concourse of his friends. The following gentlemen accompanied the remains to Hillsboro: Fred Bandel, D. H. Martin, Ben Oliver, Harry Michaels, James Grimes, A. F. Myers, Harry Connard, William Bappert, C. J. Reimann, W. O. Smith, J. S. Kelly and Will Goltra.

Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home of Harry Nicholson on East Main Street occurred the death of Frank Fry from consumption.  Mr. Fry contracted a heavy cold about two years ago which resolved itself into that dread disease consumption and since that time he has been a constant sufferer.  He was born Aug 13, 1863 at Hillsboro, Ind. He passed the early years of his life on the farm. At the age of 20 he went to Kansas and took up a claim remaining there until 1862 when he returned to this city and engaged in the grocery business.  This he was compelled to leave a year ago on account of declining health. He was married on the 20th of June 1892 to Mary E. Hesler, who survives him.  He was an earnest and devout member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and also a member of high standing in the IOOF and POS of A lodges.  The funeral was held Tuesday morning at the residences of Harry Nicholson at 811 East Main Street under the auspices of the POS of A and IOOF Lodges.  The Rev. JF Philips of Frankfort officiated. Interment at Hillsboro. – kbz
